Hi All,

House is now up for sale, were planning to move to Cairns. Pretty much willing to try anything, though I'd rather not do anything tourism related if poss.

Also anyone know how long the housing boom there is expected to last?.

Some experts said the housing boom would finish 2 years ago!

It'll end when it ends.....

But I think that it has probably slowed by now, and should even out. Whether it will drop is another question.

Todays paper had two separate reports on property. One said it was expected to boom again
Another said it was it was over, page 21 QLD Courier Mail.

The only report I believe is the one that said that the weather will get warmer, page 5.

Thankyou very much for taking the time to post.Ihave read the job search with great interest.Lots of jobs,we are not bothered what we do just as long as it pays the bills to begin with.Realise though that it will not be easy.
