how did you send yours?
Hi all, had our meds done yesterday and all went well( as far as we know) apart from a large pain in the wallet! Dont think i want to trust royal mail in sending them, want to know exactly when they get there and who signed for them in view of the delays ! Which leads me to ask, who did you send yours with? And does anyone know what sort of size and weight they are likely to be? ( i sure it's been posted before but being a techno numpty cant find it!) Thanks all.

Re: how did you send yours?
We sent ours via UPS - it was collected on a Thursday and arrived at LCU on the Monday morning and cost about 100 euros (about £70.00, I think) - tracking the package was mega simple over the internet and showed absolutely every destination the package went through!! Good luck!!

Hi blackcat,
use "interparcel". They in turn use DHL and you can track it all the way.
Our medical centre would also only send "Royal Mail Signed For". We told them we wanted to use a courier. They were happy for us to book the courier who went to the medical centre and collected from there.
Well worth it for peace of mind.

Re: how did you send yours?
Our meds are booked for 25th Sept and there are 5 of us, two adults and 3 children. Been told £7 for Royal mail or £20 for DHL but they charge per person.
Surely this is silly in case they get seperated.
Only cost us £20 for us to send TRA and visa each time and much more stuff than they are sending.
Anyone else had this charge for each person?

Needless to say I am questioning this at the moment - would love to see their reasoning other then the keep up of their Aston Martin

Seems yet another thing were common sense does not prevail and they seem to be able to charge what they like!
