How can I rent one apartment in Melbourne soon?
Hi, everyone, I am some confused. It seems there must be so many customers for those rent agencies that they have no time to put an eye on my mail because I have only received few reply from them for my requiry. I got information that it is not easy to get one suitable apartment right now when you arrive at Melbourne. Maybe I have to stay in one hostel for some days first.
Is there any advice from anyone? I need help from you.

You will probably have to look at staying in either short term furnished accomodations or a hotel for a little while when you first get to Melbourne. Do you know anyone there you can stay with for a week or two while you get yourself sorted with a job and a place to live? You probably will find it very difficult to get a place when you are not in the country yet. They will want to meet you and have you fill out an application before they will even consider renting an apartment. The rental market is very tight at the moment with lots of people applying for the same place.
Good luck with your search.

As said before you really need to wait until you get here before looking for a longer term rental. If you ask the question on Britvics I'm sure someone will be able to recommend short stay places for you. http://z7.invisionfree.com/BritVics/...hp?showforum=1
We stayed at the Lifestyle Appts in Ferntree Gully and although not cheap was a good base for looking around suburbs http://www.lifestyleapartments.com.au/
Hope that helps.
