On the East coast they tend to arrive around November time and are a real pain in the arse, after a couple of months they piss off back to the bush were they belong, so if you live near the coast its not as bab a problem.

I got married at a look out in the blue Mountains last year and it was an overcast day. F**kin flies everywhere, luckily photographer did it all with digital so he could erase the flies the missus had to leave her vail up through the ceremony incase the little b*st*rds flew up there

Anyway there not around all year

never had a problem with flies in brisbane, but was over-run by them in and around melbourne!!
