NRMA are very good for claims (so i am reliably told)

but...

My renewal from NRMA was $715 (Buildings & Contents) (Not had any claims)

I'm switching to AAMI for $516, for the same cover.

J**** that's worse than the car insurance, hope you live in a mansion... .

With car insurance being reasonable was expecting about $250 to $300 for house and buildings although for now we only need house as renting.

Anybody else got cheaper??? thanks ABC.

We went through the bank (ANZ) and pay about $350 for contents only with a couple of expensive items listed explicitly.

Bear in mind with car insurance that you pay CTP along with your rego but if you want fully comp, whatever you're quoted is on top of that.
