House inspection

Dear all,

My hubby will has 2 weeks' time in Oz for finding the accommodation, school, etc...., I am afraid the time is tight for him.

Is the house inspection day is fixed?

Can he arrange the viewing time with the agent?

Your answer is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Jessica, are you talking about an inspection to rent or to buy?

Normally if there is a set inspection day/time it will be on a weekend, but some agents may allow inspection at other times, especially if its arranged in advance. I think if you were buying then agents are more likely to be helpful - theres more money in it for them, rent is just fishfood & generally you are treated a bit like a bottom feeder. I know you are talking about Sydney, so I will let one of the locals give you more info :) .
