Default House contract - Excess Water Reading
Anyone know what an Excess Water Reading is? It's on our house purchase contract....

Only heard of this in a rental situation i.e excess water being charged for.

It is usually charged by councils on your yearly rate notice for water usage over and above your allocated limit. It is read of the water-meter on the footpath in front of the property.

hey hutch

basically you are alloctated a certain amount of water each year from the council, if you go over that quota you are hit with excess water bills. i get them every 3 mths and I conserve water..........
