House buying Oz style
 

Hi all

At risk of seeming incredibly thick...............:confused:

Can someone PLEASE talk me through the individual steps involved in house buying. Keep hearing terms like... offer acceptance, inspection reports, surveys, 5 day cooling off period, 0.25% deposit, 10% deposit etc....but would really like a solid stage process type model to help me understand what is done first, etc etc.

Anyone who can help me will receive all my karma allocation!:wub:

It does make a difference where you're buying - not all states have the same procedures.

Our mortgage broker and solicitor have been very helpful.

Have to say we haven't had to do much at all...they actually talk to each other here....it's amazing lol....
