Hi just another question of many, I am currently looking at a builder called Plantation Homes, has anyone used them , if so how were they??? Did they complete in time, was the finish up to scratch and were there any hidden extras, I have been given a quote from them listing a massive amount of extras. Please help, anyone! Phil & Eileen

Hi, havne't used them myself but have a look at this. It would appear that they don't have a good reputation. All the extras you mentioned, you will find that with most builders, there will be a lot of add ons, extras on top of what they quote. Our house build contract price came to $208,000, we ended up paying about $225,000.

Got to admit though I still love the Majestick by Plantation. Oh what to do????

I would happily recommend Ownit Homes as a good Brisbane housebuilder. We are just about completing our house build with them and they have been excellent throughout the whole process.

As a local, I had never heard of them....until now.
A workmate used Coral Homes who seem to have a good rep.
I used Cooper homes for a place I built about 10 years ago (and have since sold) ... I would give them a miss.
