Hi
Were re doig our budget before moving over and really could do with some help here, just approximates if possible

1.Were looking for bills from house rentals total per month
2.were looking for medi care totals for 2 adults and 3 kids
3.Ive contacted the rentals people to no ovail, is it just 1 months rent up front when renting a property or 1 month and bond

Any help with this would be great as were under pressure to choose a suburb etc

for a 4 bed house with pool in Brisbane I'm paying

60 for home phone/broadband TPG
120 for two mobiles with Telstra
37.75 for contents insurance with AAMI
224 for electricity with AGL

that's my house expenses, on top I have go cards, shopping, gym, swimming/tennis/dancing for kids, nurseries and after school, if you need any help with all that let me know.

Medicare, zero, we have medicare cards, not planning any expenses, just brush your teeth :D

we had to pay 4 weeks bond and 4 weeks to secure the rental although this was then taken as the first 4 weeks rental.

Just out of interest, how much is child care for
after school clubs etc when were both working and the kids stay until we pick them up

Any other apprx expenses would be great , food , gym , mob , gas etc month

child care depends on your visa status? dearer if 457.

Here is one example of before/after school care fees:

2011 Fees and Charges (before Commonwealth Child Care Benefit reductions)

Before School Care: $10.00
After School Care (includes afternoon tea): $16.00
Vacation Care and Pupil Free Day: $36.00


NOTE: If a permanent resident the govt reduces these costs by half for everybody (in the form of a rebate) - this is not income tested. Some get even more than half back depending on their income.

Gas $33 per month for hot water and stove top.
Mobile $42 per month
