hi all

well it being sometime since i posted something on BE but have'nt had any news till now got the job so now i needs somewhere to live when i first land so does anyone know where to look for furnished house or apartment to rent there are four of us so would like 2/3 bedroom till i find a permanent place to live in moving to brisbane wacol area have'nt got timescale when i start till i get visa through but would like to look for furnished places the company ive got the job with said should sort accommodation before we get there and to rent for about five weeks just to get a base so could any help.

We used a motel for the first few weeks. Spent the time looking at areas and rentals. In this area at least furnished accomodation seems to be limited to beach cabins/vans and other holiday accomodation but it's expensive. Longer rentals in my area are always unfurnished.

I gather a lot of people use www.gumtree.com.au

We used rent-a-home.com.au to get an apartment in Sydney. I have also been recommended airbnb.com.
