Hourly Rates - Admin/WP Temp Work - Brisbane Area
Hi All
Wonder if anyone can help. I'm trying to find out what the hourly rate is for admin/wp work in the Brisbane area. Not sure if it is like here but Temp work pays more as you don't get paid for sickness or holidays. Have checked a couple of the agency websites eg Hays but can't find rates.
Just wondered what the figures are so I can estimate how many hours a week I would need to work to pay the rent and still have quality time with my son after school (hubby can do all the hard grafting - sorry hun).
Thanks for your help.

Each State has its own State Award Wages website, the QLD one is here
Some other salary survey websites that may help:
The Hays Salary Survey
The Ambit Salary Index (not just IT careers)
My Career
"Real life" people post their salaries at SalaryZone as a salary guide... try office support category.
When looking at the wages being paid in Australia, remember to include the 9% compulsory superannuation payment that your employer is required to pay on your behalf to a specified Super Fund (as long as you earn more than $450 per month.) Read the wikipedia guide for more info.
