Hotel in Adelaide?
I have to go to Adelaide in April for 2 days and was wondering if one of you lovely Adelaiders could tell me what's a decent hotel close to UniSA City East campus? I want to be able to walk to my workshop, so something close to the uni would be great. I'm not fussy about luxury, just so long as it's clean and safe.
Normally I would stay with friends, but my friend lives way up in Greenwith and I would really prefer to not have to travel back and forth . Thanks! |
Re: Hotel in Adelaide?
We've cancelled Adelaide now.... saving it for Brisbane and/or Gosford...... hopefully both.
Never been to Gosford ! Brisbane could and should be massive. |

Going to bed in a second, so no time for a proper reply. But you could try clicking here.
We used this site to find a place to stay during our 2006 reccie trip. Some real bargains around, so take time to browse. Look for places in Adelaide CBD or North Adelaide. Hope this helps. :) *edit* Just noticed it's only for 2 nights. Oops. You'll definitely need a hotel, then. Can't give you much advice on that, since I prefer B&Bs. |

Although I do have a spare bed if you need it  (I'm not as far as Greenwith, but still a good bus ride north though!) |

Re: Hotel in Adelaide?
Oaks Embassy has a pretty good reputation from what I've heard. Definitely worth a look.

I always stay at http://www.majestichotels.com.au/ola_overview.htm. Great location - very close to the Old Lion pub which does the best schnitzel! Close to transport and other restaurants/cafes/coffee shops. Not noisy at all despite closeness to the pub.
Hope you enjoy Adelaide! |

Stayed many times in the Hilton on the square - a minute from the tram to Glenelg beach so very convenient. Nice staff, too.
