Default HongKong with kids

can anyone recommend anything to keep the kids amused (7 and 5). We're stopping for a day on route to Brissie.

Depending upon where you're staying:

Take the Star Ferry from HK Island to Kowloon to watch the evening laser/light show

They may also enjoy a tram ride to the top of The Peak and the views. If not, I seem to recall there being a McDonalds up there.

I don't believe HK to be as kids-oriented as somewhere like Florida (I maybe wrong though) but our kids (slightly older) enjoyed it nontheless
