Homebrewing question
 

A quick question, before I make a fool of myself at my local Homebrew shop.

In the UK I bottled my homebrew in pint bottles and when it was ready poured it into a pint glass in 1 go (so as not to disturb the sediment).

Here the bottles are 750 ml. So what are you supposed to do? Pour it into a jug and then into a pint glass? Or are there 750 ml glasses?

Please don't say bottle it in stubbies, its twice the work!

I don't suppose drinking from the bottle is a good idea then :D

If you want pints; use coke bottles . It's enough to pour two pints if you are drinking them with someone.
I use plastic coke ,1.25 litre bottles - two pints is around 1.140 Litres ( I'm rounding 568ml to 570) . So these bottles are perfect for two pints and only a little swig is left over in the bottle .. which tends to be the sediment anyway.

I tend to use these coke bottles instead of putting them in glass bottles and capping them ,as I have had caps blowing off in the past and hitting the roof ..lol ( I always double the sugar content - lethal) :)

Oh Ceri, the one thing worse than having the lids blow off, is when the beer hits the roof when you open the bottle. I had to repaint a kitchen ceiling after one particular batch kept exploding when I opened it,
