Yes I agree. Each country does things differently in some areas. I mean, just look at the idiot that NZ has just elected as PM

Well my take being Australia just stumbles into a particular situation little of its own making. It could be luck which this country has experienced in spades and even downturns in recent history. (The Great Depression hit home hard though) Ineptness in leadership and far too much apathy within for much to change, although the changes imposed in more recent times will have severe long lasting consequences to which few know how it will turn out.
