Home share/ Accommodation, over New Year in Sydney
Hi,
Does anyone know of an organisation that arranges homestay/share type accomodation for visitors to australia. My husband and 4 year old son will be spending 6 weeks travelling in australia and we want to spend our last week in Sydney, and to see the New Years Eve fireworks.
Ideally we would be looking for somewhere in Sydney close to, or with good transport to the CBD. If anyone knows of someone that rents out an annex or room that would also be useful. We would prefer to stay with a family. We would also be out most of the day sightseeing etc.
We have no problem with booking a hotel over this period [albeit a lot are booking up fast] but I thought it may be nice to spend at least a week staying in different accommodation, as we would have spent a lot of time in hotels already.
If anyone has any recommendations for good b and b's, motels, hotels in sydney we would also be grateful for any info. We have not booked any accommodation yet so the week does not necessarily have to be over new year.
