Our home loan was agreed by the company but turned down by Mortgage Indemnity Insurers mainly because 1 of us on a temp contract, even though both professionals. (Buying in WA)

Any advice please!!!! Desperately don't want to lose the house we were buying

Will be interested to hear what people suggest here. I haven't been in this position so can't comment.

What I can do though, is reassure you that there are hundreds of thousands of great homes in Australia, at all prices and in all areas. If you miss out on this one, it'll be annoying, but its not the end of the world.

Shop around. Even though we had 60% deposit some lenders would not lend to us as I had only just moved contract to staff.
