I had the surveyor round earlier this morning and the 'Sellers Pack' came up in conversation. I'm sure a lot of you are already aware of this but:

In the conversation with the surveyor this morning, he felt that this could totally bu**er up what is a slow market. People will have to pay another £600+ to sell their house on top of all the other fees. He feels less houses would come on the market which could push up the prices as people feel less inclined to move, causing a shortage of available properties.
Surely the mortgage lenders will still insist on another survey and I'm sure for peace of mind most people would prefer to have their own anyway?
If selling houses are tough now, what will it be like in the next couple of years with even more red tape?
