Default Home from Home

This TV program is on Foxtel right now worth a look , this week a couple from Lancashire swopped homes with Poms in Mandurah in the British Summer .
This must have been on in the UK last year , started off with same old bull but as it went on a few home truths struck home in the first part well worth a watch and I will look forward to part 2 next week .
Ps best comment was from the Poms staying here in Mandurah was "its more like Siberia than Australia we have even had hail'
The returning Poms remarked 'the people in Lancashire are the so Friendly ' and drolled over a pork pie and a pint.

5.30pm Home From Home Wardle/Mandurah Pt 2
A series following families, couples and individuals as they swap homes and lifestyles for a holiday.

I saw that! (Oz Pay Tv repeats the shows several times during the week) Mandurah looked like a bloody boring hole. Sorry folks but what the hell do people do there, the exciement of it all apperared to be cooking bacon and eggs for breakfast. More bland suburbia with a bit of a nice walk along the beach. Help!

Plus it was peeing with rain, cold. Cant wait for episode 2, maybe they cook beans on toast.

Do you actually believe that you can get a true picture of a place from a short TV program?

It is a very nice place, a lot more to the place than any TV show can bring out. Spend some time there (i have) and then you can knock it if its not your cup of tea.

I leave moving round the world on the basis of a short program to the immos! Only joking.

Program hit a real chord tho, just looked like such a boring OZ town. You know that rave they do, oh yeah climate, beach parks blah but actually when you really live there its so boring you feel like your brain will die.

Husbands been there tho, same opinion, nice place for a week but what then.

Sorry folks but London spoilt me for life variety wise.

Sorry Dotty but London does nothing for me.
If you are the sort of person that is turned on by the hussle bussle of the city life then Mandurah is not for you.
Some of us do like the quieter life.

I saw that too. Did you notice that they made use of the only decent day, weatherwise, by getting pissed in the morning.

what channel is that on foxtel,? I didn't see it... could do with a laugh. Next programme's date?

I can get "free" foxtel (ahem ahem...cough, cough.) . .. Notice I say I can get , not getting.lol... You can actually get something's free in this life... not that I ever would if you know what mean.. ahem, ahem. 800 dollars for descrambler card/hack and dish included. one off cost, it works out cheaper than your monthly bills..
Hey... that porn channel is disgusting! Actually if I watched it (not that I did because I haven't got a descrabler if you know what I mean) .... I had a peak! five minutes ... I thought this is disgusting! so I continued to watch to complain "this is disgusting!" "should be banned dew dew" ...actually it was very boring, I changed channel after five minutes... wondering what all the fuss was about ... and watched the Beeb instead. also any boxing matches can be seen without paying ... if I had a descrambler.. bl**dy illegal dealings! disgusting.

I used to get cable in my other house ... no cable in my new area , you need satalite.

Anyway , what channel is that on? Lifestyle... what night? ... I haven't got a foxtel/optus . they don't send the TV guide to me... because I have not got foxtel or optus... lol... but if I had... what channel and night is that on?

Cheers

P.s all this happened in a dream (make believe situation)I had .. I would never ever break the law.

Cheers... I'll have a look next weekend.

What did you pay for your descrambler card.. in your dream you understand?

In my dream I paid $800 - satalite, box, descrambler card/hack. works out cheaper.in the long run of course.. In my last house I was paying 50 something dollars for the basic package (no comedy channel etc) ... in my dream I can now can get the boxing... when there's a big match on and all channels.

Cheers
