Home exchanges
Anybody done this, we are keen to hear opinions good or bad on the matter. Still debating if its a good or mad idea!
We went over to the UK in Feb and had a ball we plan to go again this year or early 2005, but with the $11,000 airfares and taxes for 5 of us we though a house exchange might suit us rather than cramming in with relatives again.
Also if anybody fancies 4/6 weeks on the sunny coast in or around Dec/Jan (OZ school hols) we might be able to save you a fortune by doing a house exchg. UK area pretty open. Feel free to send me a PM if anyones brave enough to take on OZ/UK family with three sons aged 19 11 8 by then, all housetrained
