The holiday is over - got a job
One interview, one job, 9 days from starting looking to offer, I start on 3rd January (subject to a basic medical). How easy was that?!
It is with one of the big mining companies in the CBD, initially a 3 month contract (my preference). They seem a good bunch and have an active social life
by the sounds of it. It is a job beneath the level I would expect but the pay is better than I dared expect two weeks ago and they are making all the right noises that a much better, even permanent role could result out of it.
Not sure if I am celebrating or commiserating

Well done on securing that job - hope it's as easy for hubby ....... when the time comes ......... He has at least sent one application in now. I might be able to start my retail therapy again soon!
