Holiday Inn or Adelaide Hilton
Which one's better - location wise? - price-wise not much difference.
Also any 'must do' tips for Adelaide ?
Planning our vacation
Thanks!

Thanks!! Prefer not to be in a seedy area - 2 young kids. I think Hilton it is then.
By the way do you have any idea of the scenery if we do the trip to&from Adelaide-Melbourne by train?
Cheers

I'd go for the Hilton, esp with children. Much nicer.
Any train trip is fabulous in Aus... you don't have to do the driving and the scenery is wonderful. Went from Sydney to Adelaide last year and it was great.

Must do for Adelaide?
Just back from a recce........
Use the library in North Terrace for free internet access (broadband) and even better bring your own laptop and plug in.
Grab a copy of the 'Hip pocket guide' of Adelaide form the library or tourist info as it has loads of things to do, many free.
Last, visit Glenelg and get a $70 parking ticket, like me.

The Hilton!
Just walk out of the door for the tram to the beach at Glenelg, pubs/theatres around, etc.
Don't like HI beds anyway!
