holiday help, please

We are planning to go to Queensland in September to have a look at the theme parks. Anyone got any advice on airlines (from Adelaide), car hire, places to stay ect.
It will be me, hubby and 17yr old daughter.

Check out Virgin's Happy Hour sales from 12 noon on a daily basis. We got our tickets from Perth to Adelaide for $125 each one way. Total trip for 4 was just over $1000. Don't forget to bring your own snacks and a water bottle, though.
