Default Holiday on the Gold Coast

Once we are settled in Oz we want to have a family holiday on the Gold Coast, though not sure we can afford Christmas. We are 2 Adults and 4 kids between 10 and 17.

Can anyone recommend places to stay and appartment accomadation or a website with cheap deals ?

Any tips and advice appreciated.

Regards,
Ian.

We have stayed at the Big 4 treasure Island resort for the past 2 years and are going again in a few weeks, www.treasureisland.com.au (I think). Just outside Southport and a short bus ride to all the theme parks and beaches. We have 3 kids, the 2 oldest being now 15 & 13 and of all the Big 4 parks we have stayed in around Australia ( about 10 ) this is the one they say they love the most. We have always booked the Lagoon Deluxe Villa, which we have found to be of exceptional quality and were brand new 2 years ago. Hope this helps, good luck.

I can't recommend anywhere as when we were there a few years ago, we stayed with family.

There are loads of places on this link though so might be worth a look.
