Re: hifix questions
We transferred money to HiFX on Thursday (via Barclays), got an email from them that evening and our bank in Australia is showing the money there today. So that's two working days.

Re: hifix questions
we have been on to barclays and they say we have to write them a letter about transfering our money they wont take it verbally over the phone or by e mail they wont even give us are branch phone number to talk to someone there how redicoulous does anybody know the quickest way to send a letter to england :curse: these banks are ok until you want to transfer a big sum of your own money so guys dont leave things till the last minute because nobody tells you about these things we had no choice because our house sale took to long

Bear in mind though that you might get a better exchange rate if you are transferring over a (bigger) lump sum rather than a number of smaller amounts.
We did some larger transactions that way. |
