Hidden gems
 

We've been in Perth for nearly four years now but have recently moved from Carramar to the inner suburbs just across the river. We've got family coming over for a month in two weeks time and although we know all the good places to go NOR, South and East not so much.

Some friends have told us about Point Walter and John Forrest National Park (neither of which we'd heard of) and it made me realize how much we haven't discovered yet. Anyone got any other suggestions for those hidden gems that the casual visitor never finds?
