Hi there from the Boomerang family
G'day everyone, we are new to the site and think it is fantastic.
Only wish it had been around 6 years ago when we first emigrated! We are currently thinking of making it 3rd time lucky and emigrating again, anyone out there in a similar situation or have any opinions good or bad?

What made you homesick?
I've heard that going home within 2 years of imigrating can make it unbearable.
Takes guts to sell up and try it all again, good luck

Hi there,
everything made us homesick !!!!!
No only joking1
I think the enormity of what we'd actually done hit us when the coach driver left our excess baggage, i mean suitcases on the pavement outside our apartment and drove off all our worldly goods were in those bags and we just thought oh dear WHAT HAVE WE DONE!!?

Friends of ours did exactly that, came back home after 18 months, unpacked, then packed immediately and went back to Perth, never came back again, 20 years now and have been great encouragement to us as we have 3 young kids and loved it so much when we went over.
see ya ....... Andy ( Perth bound july 03) just had acceptance and visa's in the post. Can't wait.
