Default Hi, planning a long trip to aus next year!

Hey guys i haven't been here in a while, but im planning a trip with the missus next year whenever we have the funds.

Im planning on going Melbourne first, try find a job work a bit, go somewhere else... and so on.

I was wondering if theres any advice on how long we can go for?
price of flights?
what jobs we could get?
do we need some sort of greencard?
Your views on the best accomodation?
Ideas of MINIMUM funds after flights and booking a few week in our first stop?
Should we book return flights or one way and leave when we want?

Has anyone living near and around beautiful cities got jobs for a plasterer? know of anyone who could throw me a bit of work, or maybe my missus whos a peadriactic nurse? she will probably only be able to get part time nursery work?

Lot of questions, quickly. haha

p.s. A lot of the questions to some of you may seem pointless to ask, but i just brainstormed so dont rant at me
