Hi~
I have travelled from sydney up to Cairns for about a month. I think Cairns is a good place to do scuba diving(even though more expensive),because it's more beautiful and cleaner than the other places. And I recommend you to choose a small group boat. It's more safe, exciting and cheap. Do you and your wife like bikeriding? If you do, borrow and ride in Cairns city. It's also a good experience. Have you heard about Fraser Island camping? It's adventurous. You can make friends from all over the world. "The Koala backpacker's house" will put you into a group of 10 people. They organize camping and lend a jeep for each group. Oh I forgot! Cairns is good for shopping. There are nice markets. And if you'd like to do adventurous sports more, try rafting!! Have a great time~^^ jimmyman wrote in message news:... > can anyone help? > me and me wife are going to sydney for 5 days brisbane for 3 and we have > a car for 18 days going up to cairns > we are leaving england on the 14 feb 2003 and was wondering if anyone > can tell me where and what to do in these 4 weeks of stay i have heard > of noosa and would love to stay somwhere there > we have 18 days of the flagship hotels > if anybody can give me any advice i would be very happy > cheers > jimmy |

Re: hi
Before heading north, you could drive down to the Gold Coast (less than
100km)and experience the amusement parks such as Dream World, Movie World, Sea World and Wet & Wild Water World. Re: hi
Jimmy is great but what ever else you do you must not forget the Gold
Coast - it is about 150 kilometers south of Noosa but, in my humble opinion much better and cheaper and better beaches- see my reply to the post " where to spend 5 days Gwen kelly -- Gwen Kelly "jimmyman" wrote in message news:434521.1033852589@britishexpats- .com... > can anyone help? > me and me wife are going to sydney for 5 days brisbane for 3 and we have > a car for 18 days going up to cairns > we are leaving england on the 14 feb 2003 and was wondering if anyone > can tell me where and what to do in these 4 weeks of stay i have heard > of noosa and would love to stay somwhere there > we have 18 days of the flagship hotels > if anybody can give me any advice i would be very happy > cheers > jimmy > -- > Posted via http://britishexpats.com |
