Default Here we go again

After our buyers losing their buyers and us giving them a few weeks to try to sell again, we`ve decided to put our house back onto the market again I found the hole thing a pain in the bum the first time Anyway we`ve got our first viewing 12o/c Sunday, so fingers crossed.

Really have got everything crossed for you. I didn't feel any pressure when we put the house on the market back in October but if we don't get a buyer soon I'll .......................... No complaints with our agents - we have had a minimum of two viewings a week (except over the Christmas period) so what is wrong with my house?! At least you had a buyer lined up which says to me that you will have no trouble in getting another.

Keep us posted.

Good luck Sue. My wife sells advertising space in the local paper for the estate agents and she and others have told me the housing market seems very active now Xmas is over.

Things are going better Sue - I've had 5 viewers this weekend - all positive in what they saw I think. (Hope)

It is now in the hands of someone else !

As some of you know, I have sold my house 3 times since February 2004. First ones pulled out week before exchange because I refused to drop the price. Second one pulled out a few weeks later due to someone hitting her parked car outside house and 3rd ones pulled out week before exchange in November because they lost their FTB. The house has been empty since February when Tenants moved out so heating had been switched off and Estate Agents told me cracks were appearing in bedroom walls (House had been re-plastered). I finally ealised that in order to start afresh and get a buyer this year I had to do something I really didn't want to do.

I went to the house with brother in law who used screw driver to make cracks huge! we then filled them, sanded them and I repainted all 3 bedrooms. I then refilled cracks and painted bedrooms again. I spent my two days off at freezing cold empty house (no hot water!) filling, sanding and re-painting 3 bedrooms. It does look really good now, but I had carpet burns on my knees (from painting bottom half of walls with roller, not from fooling around with brother in law!!!!) I also had red raw hands from gripping roller so tightly and my nails were wrecked. I hope now that all 3 bedrooms are cream rather than Blue, Terracotta and Aqua with not a crack in sight I will get a quick sale. I cant afford to pay 2 mortgages much longer.

After all that effort you definitely deserve a quick sale now. We blitzed the house back in October when we first put the house on the market and if it doesn't sell soon we shall have to start again! It's not easy to keep it all pristeen with three kids under 7 forever trashing it!

Good luck
