Help, your advice is needed!
Hi there me and my family {Alan 49, Sandra 47, Robert 19, son, Michelle16, daughter}are in the early prosses of trying to move from Leeds -Perth. Any advice on where to move to with 2 kids this age will be welcome.Because of my age I will need a job offer (NOT SPONSORSHIP) in a regional area of Perth before I can get a visa. I am a fully qualified Gas Fitter and also fully qualified as a Bricklayer, although it been a few years now since I worked as a bricklayer. Any advice on how to find job offers in regional areas?

Perth is not regional WA. There are no "regional areas of Perth". If you're looking for something close(ish) to Perth you could try Peel, which encompases Mandurah.
For sponsorship/job offers you could try some of the job websites www.seek.com.au www.careerone.com.au are the most common.

If it's a job offer you require then your best bet is to go on the sites Dorothy gave you and start emailing different companies. Be warned it can be extremely difficult to get a job offer before you're actually over there. Best of luck though.

to get a rsms you need a sponsor - not just a job offer. Have you done all the research you need on the visa?

by definition, sponsorship is required. There may have been some misinformation supplied from Oz house unfortunately.

Hi the gas man, A regional area for Perth will be Mandurah or Rockingham. You can contact Clive. His a migration agent in Mandurah area. You can get his contact details on www.Perth-sa-migrant-support.com.au under BUSINESS SERVICES look for Travel/Immigration
Also try employment agencies like Drake. They specialise in the Trade. You will notice under WA Economy for the hidden job market a few business directories. Use the REPS directory and search for gas and plumbing. All direct contact details are available from those companies
Hope it helps!

How do you plan to move here without sponsorship? Do you already have a visa? If you are over 45 a skilled visa is not possible without being sponsored and your 19 year old would have to meet dependent eligibility criteria.

to sponsor you have to have 45k retained earnings, to have spent 10k+ on training on australians and +150k or something like that. You also have to pay a min salary and show you can do that. first the company has to have approval to sponsor then they apply to sponsor the person.
its a pain, we are doing it for someone and I wish i hadnt started it because its not really a good risk if they then want to go home.

Please see the pages on the government immigration website here that desribe this visa
http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/skill...rsms/index.htm
If you are getting your information from an agent I would seriously not use them if they get this very basic info wrong.
Go throught the gov website, use the visa wizard if you like, read the booklets or find another agent.
