hi

if you do a search on this forum and on the general oz forum key in word -hairdresser- you should find a lot of info.

I have been preparing paperwork for my partner as he is and has been self employed since his apprenticeship so I had to organise lots of paperwork for that.

bottom line however is that you need to go into great detail

i.e. hours you work
type of work you do
details of the type of work you do
tools you use
if self employed times you open/close - staff not just number of staff but their positions within the salon etc

the tra application form as well as their faq is helpful and all the details that they want from you are there.

all the best
