help on tax ..leaving the uk form p85
hi please can anyone tell us the best time to put in the tax form for leaving the uk form p85......cheers

we are having the same problem, you need to put your tax form in asap as they are currently backlogged with year end stuff therefore you can expect a 6-8 week wait at least!
you can get details of your P45 if you havent left your job yet from your employer and write them down on a separate sheet. I was under the impression we would get a rebate from April to April 2006, not likely, we are planning to move in March and therefore will only be rebated from March onwards!
