Can anyone who had to get a police check done in Holland help me? I tried to apply for a VOG at the last place I lived in Holland - unfortunately the town hall have no record of me living there (ooops) so cant get me a VOG.

Does anyone know any other way of getting one without going through a local town hall?

Hi,

I also needed to get the same certificate. Did you register in the town hall when you lived there? Assuming that you are not Dutch then I think by law you have to register. It might be worth trying the local police station as in the back of my mind I'm sure I needed to let them know as well. Good luck.
