Help Needed TRA!!!!
Our accountant has asked us for example copy of a trade reference letter or letter that previous accountants have used. My husband is a plumber and is self employed. We just need to know the format for the Australian TRA Assessment form.
Your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Help Needed TRA!!!!
you need to go to the TRA website and you can download the tra application form off their ... google the address if you cant find it on here ... and the asco code definitions is very helpful to know exactly what the code states you need to be doing to be competent in your trade.
again if you dont have the site address just google it - i think its on the aussie statistics website but someone might come along with the link for you.
all the above info is available through links from dimias site.

Re: Help Needed TRA!!!!
Hi,
Your accountant just has to confirm that he is responsible for dealing with your husbands accounts and the date that he has done that since.
He also needs to confirm your husband's company name ( if there is one) and exactly what your husband's position is within the company.
It doesn't need to be any more detailed than that, you will have to send previous years accounts which will give further info.
We didn't even tell our accountant who the letter was for, we just asked him to address To Whom it May Concern.
Our Tra was successful with that info.
Hope that helps
Best of Luck.
