Help needed please
Hello everyone, am new to this site so please be gentle.
Have just got our visa and we are really excited and very nervous, but cant wait to move out to oz. Family of five me and hubby, and three lovely kids 16yrs 10yrs and 3yrs.
Like some on here, are waiting to sell house in uk, and in the mean time hubby has been laid off, (bricklayer) so has decided that he would make the move over to oz, perth, initially on his own at begining of june 08 to find job, house and sort many other things out before we arrive. Was just wondering if anyone would be kind enough (as many seem to be here) to give any advice on where to stay in perth and where the jobs are, hubby is bricklayer (as mentioned earlier). 12 yrs experience.
Have tried looking on various websites, and in australian online newspapers for bricklayer jobs in perth but no vacancies show up, doesnt seem to be any around.
Hubby is just planning on getting flight with bag of few clothes, passport and money, landing in oz and going from there, but being a woman cant help but worry as we do. So would be great if anyone could point us in the right direction with some valuable info, or job offers!
Many thanks : )
