Help needed please
Hi,
We will be making Melbourne our home mid-January 2006. We don't have any rented accommodation sorted out when we arrive. What we would like to do is stay in a 2-bed flat/apartment/house that will charge by the week, not the extortionate nightly rates that some businesses are offering, until we find a house that we can move into on a 6-12 month lease.
Can anybody help us and lead us in the right direction.
P.S. We will be wanting to live in Bundoora, North-east of Melbourne.
Thanks very much,
Debs & Daren

Sorry, I can't help but can I ask why you chose Bundoora? We're hoping to move to Melbourne and are trying to get a handle on the suburbs?
Thanks
Thanks

We chose Bundoora because it wasn't too far out of the city centre (17km north-east), it's close to the ring road which is very handy to get everywhere and the area was nice. The houses are not as expensive as some areas that are the same distance but in opposite directions. There is also a good public transport system to/from the city.
The best thing to do is log onto www.domain.com.au. They have all the information on every suburb, including whether it is lower, working, middle or upper class. It will also inform you of the nationalities living in that particular area plus all additional statistics.
Good luck and anymore questions, please feel free to ask and I'll try and help if I can.
