Default Help needed - form 47SK

Hi all,

here we go with one more question about form 47SK.

I am applying for skilled matching (134) and have been nominated by the state.

Question 109 asks me if I have the application fee to include with my application. If I say yes, it skips the 110 question - which is the category I am actually applying for - Skilled Matching.

If I answer "no" to question 110 it skips the payment option. So, I am a bit confused on that and would be really greatefull if you can help me on clarifying this matter.

I didn't think you could apply for skill matching and STNI?

You might get more responses if you posted in the correct forum...

Anyways, you should be clear about which visa you're applying for - STNI or Skills Matching.

If you already have state sponsorship, you should be going for a state sponsored visas (eg STNI).

thanks for your tip Peter, I aways get confused when posting, and often I post on the wrong place. Anyway, the email which confirmed my nomination, says that I can apply under the skilled matching category - which is also part of STNI scheme. This one is better coz requires less recent work experience.

cheers

There's at least one reason (work experience requirement) why someone might not qualify for STNI but would qualify for Skill Matching.

Hi Jeremy,
But Skilled Matching is part of STNI scheme, at least this is what is said on the email that confirm my nomination. I have only 6 months of recent work experience, this is why I am applying under skilled matching. But if i got nominated yet, it means I can apply under skilled matching. Am I right?

cheers

If you have an 'STNI' state nomination then you can apply for the Skill Matching visa if you prefer. If you only have 6 months skilled work experience you must do this (they will refuse your application if you apply for STNI).

Ok, so lets see if I understood right:
"applying for skilled matching" does not mean putting your name on a data base? It means applying for a PR using the state nomination as support.
Coz, I dont need to put my CV on a data base and wait to be nominated by an employer/state, since I have already been nominated.

God Lord, am I right?
Tks a lot for your precious time Jaj

If you didn't have a state nomination you'd be doing just that, 'putting your name on a list' however unless you fit the criteria for a state nomination this is a very long shot.
