Help - need to renew British passport

Hubbies passport runs out in April - how do we go about getting a new british passport and getting the visa transferred other than sending out the British passport forms myself from here in Brisbane and getting someone in the UK to do it for us.

Anyone done it from here?

You can get a new passport from the British High Commission in Canberra. Here is their weblink which explains it all: http://bhc.britaus.net/passports/pas...ault.asp?id=79

Once you've got the new passport from them, go down to your local DIMIA office and they can out a new visa sticker in it.

(Haven't done this myself, but this question gets asked here about once every two weeks.)

I printed off the form from the website stated earlier.....u cant apply for a British Passport in Britain if you are not there at the time...it must be made thro the British High Comission here
