could anyone help me is there any mags or newspapers that ican subscribe to where my wife and myself can find out more about the areas in victoria so we can find out the best places for us to settle if we get our visa. please please help us.

The Australian News has interesting stuff in it, I don't think it's specifically about one area but it may help...contact them through Outbound Publications on the web.

Also try The Mebourne Age newspaper. That's the main one for there, they may be able to help you more.
