Can anyone help me ? I am looking to move to AU and have been doing tons of research and going round in circles. Basically where is the best state to move to if you want to live semi-rural with a few acres ( between 20 and 30 ) and be near to jobs ( i am a head chef and my husband will do just about anything !!!) and the larger towns/state capitals. Victoria, NSW, South AU or Western AU ? Where are most of you guys living ?

hard to answer, it's a big place and all depends on your tates.

Why don't you try a holiday and experience life in Qz, flying between cities or traveling by road or do this once you get there

I really don't think anyone on here will be able to help. If you've done lots of research then what is your conclusion, what are your preferences ? If you are looking for help then you need to provide much more info.

This is one VERY big place.

I'm sorely tempted to think this is a wind up !
