Help, Help, Help.
i will try to keep this short!
Some years ago i was reading an article on the connection between de-ja-vue and brain tumours, in a panick i went to my gp telling him that i had had de-ja-vue many times in my life, he said he was sure i didnt have a brain tumour after all that time but thought it might be an indication of epilepsy and sent me for further tests.
I had an MRI which was normal and an EEG which i never recieved any results and so presumed that everything was ok, there ends the first part of this saga!
Now second stage of the saga!
a couple of weeks ago we were assigned a CO and asked to go for meds (YIPPEE), today i went to my gp to get letters/copies of said MRI and EEG results, as advised by visa info.
MRI normal
EEG, NOT NORMAL (ARRRRRRRRRRGGG)
it says that it is basically inconclusive and needs further follow ups and that it MAY show some POSSIBLE signs of mild epilepsy!!!!!
I never recieved this info and have never heard from the hospital since and so have never had any follow ups
I have never had a seizure, am not on any medication and as you can imagine am quite shocked at the moment. However i have got my medical tomorrow, what do i do?
do i tell them the whole story or not mention anything at all?
Is this going to mean i fail my medical????
Please help, Anyone?????

I would go back to your GP and ask for a referral, ( couldn't say if I would mention it to the doc doing your visa medical - I don't think I would.) But I would deffo get a referral from your GP. Epilepsy requires specific tests, in my friends son's case, he has presented for about a year, and theyre still testing to see what type it is.
sorry I'm not being more helpful

It's only a possiblity, don't jump to any conclusions.
I'd say you should mention it when you have your meds done, it may mean that you have to wait for results of more tests - but what is more important, your health or the visa? Keep it all in perspective! Good luck,

Hello, I personally wouldnt mention it.
We did meds 05/09 and I only provided a Dr's report as I suffer from Graves Disease (overactive thyroid) and have been under the hospital for years although im all clear at the moment. I didnt tick yes for any other box.
In Oz and at the meds they were happy with this and there were no further questions/investigations. Meds got received in Oz 15/09, PCC on 04/10 and visa granted 23/10.
Say nothing as you will only open a can of worms for a possibility. You dont need to provide your medical reports from your doctor for the meds.
Just chill out and relax. If there is anything you need to declare then do but dont make a problem if there isnt one (hope that sounded ok and not sarky as not meaning to). The most you have to worry about at the meds is peeing into a pot (a fun task for women i must say) and getting weighed!!
Hope this helps. Feel free to PM me. But dont worry. Stress not good..
Karma sent to you..

Re: Help, Help, Help.
thanks for all the advice
for all you people waitnig for medicals, it was absolutely fine, no stress whatsoever, we would highly recommend nottingham, the were the most reasonably priced and the doctor was fantastic, especially with the children (one who screamed blue murder throughout!), de-ja-vu no problem at all.
Good luck everyone
