help on Canberra

Hello:
I will be relocating to Canberra very soon. I was wondering if someone can throw in a few tips about Canberra. I have got a few questions especially regarding renting there (there isn't much info on the net)
Does Canberra have any high rise buildings for renting purposes like in Sydney?
Would you recommend some place good for living down there
Any suburbs one should try and stay away from?

Tx for the help

Re: help on Canberra

Hi Soum,

Canberra does have flats as well as houses, and there are few areas to worry
about in terms of crime etc. Best to visit a good real estate agent such as
Peter Blackshaw in Manuka. Where are you going to be working? Is the snow
or the beach or Sydney likely to be a major attraction in your lives?

Cheers
