Default Help with calling card

I'm a British woman who is shuttling between the Philippines (where I'm currently based) and Australia (for work). I have been having problems finding a phone card that would let me call the UK and has no hidden charges or other hanky panky stuff like that.

To be honest, I've been online for most of the day and I have come to nothing. I am close to crying

What I did find was this Lime Blue card, but I am not sure if this is the best one. The Smile card is also a good choice because it allows me to call home and also some suppliers in Thailand.

HELP?

I use Pricebuster VIP.

You do have to keep checking - as you found out - their terms. www.cardcall.com.au is where you can find them, and the cost of various calls. They do make it very difficult to burrow down to see them though - I could be cynical and say that's because they change the costs to your detriment when they feel like it.

I think most of the cards use cardcall as their operations centre, just set up a website and take the money.

I used to use Shout - then I found my balance deceasing quite fast. When I went to the cardcall site I found they'd changed it so that, instead of a cost per call they had changed so that regardless of use they took IIRC $0.50c off the card every two days! You would wake up one day and find you had no credit.

Keep checking!

Why don't you just top up skype with credit and use that instead?

Hi,
When we call the UK we use Ozcall, these vouchers can be purchased at most places in Australia ie: Supermarkets, garages, Newsagents etc and you only buy exactly how much you need, International calls are very cheap and the voucher lasts around 3 to 6 months.
Hope this helps
