I'm on the Gold Coast at the mo!considering a move to Perth though.putting feelers out to see if it's worth it.gold coast great place to live but work is scarce!
Picking up domestic stuff which is ok but spent most of my career in heavy industry oil n gas stuff so wiring up someone's cooker don't really do it for me lol!
May be worth a mention but brother in law lives in Perth so I can move fairly easy, once I'm settled family can follow,in a rental so fairly straight forward,it is something we are considering!
If anyone wants me to send cv let me know
Cheers

Hi my DH was an fully qualified Electrician with huge experience before our move to Perth Aus. back then you had to do a text on regs at Tafe and then pay (again lol) for your A grade license, work was scarce then and he did manual work etc. in the end we decided to send his resume to Western Power and other big companies even to Telstra and he got a start he never looked back, what I am trying to say maybe look at other trades now while you can (unless you love being an Electrician) Good luck.
