Can anyone help us with accommodation in Gladstone? There is more demand than supply and we have been unsuccessful on many occassions to secure a rental. Not sure why that is as I think we tick most of the boxes as we don't smoke, no pets , no children, working, great references and we can pay 6 months in advance if required. We are a mature professional couple friendly and outgoing so if you or someone you know can help us please drop us a line on here.
The job starts on Monday the 11th of July so we really need something from Sunday night onwards.....

Can't help with a rental but you need to try and find out why you keep getting knocked back. Make friends with some of the rental agencies and try and find out why you didn't get approved. Make sure that your application is as full as possible and you give them paperwork that can evidence what you say. Your problem may be a lack of rental history - so give them evidence that you previously paid the mortgage in the uk and offer in writing to pay upfront. If all else fails offer more rent or a longer lease.
