Help - can anyone answer this question -
our financial sponsor has been for his interview today and we asked how it went. He has now informed us that they are looking into his criminal record abit more - we didn't even know he had one until today -
anyone else been in the same situation or can offer some advice????

Is he an Australian citizen or a permanent resident?

If he's an Australian citizen it should not make any difference (unless it's really bad and falls within the requirements for revoking citizenship, which are quite specific).

If he's a permanent resident or New Zealand citizen, then depending on what's he's (allegedly) done, then he might have bigger problems.
