hello, from the sunshine coast and tips

Hello and good evening,

Well we finally arrived after a fantastic 2 week trip via America Fiji and New Zealand it is a great way to go. We got 64 kg luggage allowance just what we needed.

We landed a week ago stayed in Brisbane (goodearth hotel) until today. SO far we have got a house and hubby has got his blue card.

We feel at home here already and have decided that we love Caloundra so will be renting a house there.

I brought my AA membership and got the same deal over here they just transfered it.

I hope you are all well and I shall report back soon.

Love Carrianne x

Hi Carrianne,

Glad you are happy, you now need to update your loction from Bonnie Scotland to Bonnie Brissie....................

Carrianne Mar 4th 2004 12:50 am

I have to sat to allthose coming over. As I expected it is hard work, rental houses are going very quickly up here within a weekifthey are nice we where lucky and got ours at the time it had just been advertised. Be pro active, when you rent you willneed to prove the money you have in your account,so get a print out, rentals will need, passport copies, mortgage statements etc,so bring them and ask for them.

A three bedroom nice house in a nice area for exapmleis around $290 + per week dollars up here.

Hope this helps

Hey - Congrats on your new home!!

I was just wondering how you got your luggage allowance increased, did you have to ask for it in advance, or just beg nicely at the airport?! :)

I think that's standard on US flights west.
