Hello from sunny singapore.......but soon to be Mel
Well the UK is now firmly behind me and at the moment I am sat in Singapore waiting for my next flight to Melbourne. I arrived last night and decided to do a stopover to try and break the 'lag'. Whether it works or not, time will tell when I hit Melbourne.
The weather is hot here.......31C and sunny. Yippee, but that will change when I hit the ground in Melbourne.
For those that may be looking at stopping over I would recommend Singapore as it is quite cool. Loads of great shops downtown and everywhere is soooo green. Spot on really.
Well, gotta shoot as I have stuff to do before I head to the airport once again. Less than 24hrs and I will be in my new home.

Hi Ian,
Sounds like it's going OK so far touch wood. We will be following you in about a months time, we fly out to Dubai with Emirates on 24th August and also stop in Singapore (at the Shangri-La) before going on to Melb.
Where are you staying when you get there?
